| "M i n i - E u r o p e , das
internationale Basketball-Turnier für Mannschaften der Kategorie U14, wurde
zum ersten Mal 1994 ausgetragen, damals noch mit 12 Mannschaften. Von Beginn
an wurde auf eine möglichst breite internationale Beteiligung hingearbeitet
und das Ziel wurde auch erreicht. Bereits bei der ersten Organisation konnten
die Veranstalter Vertreter von Top-Teams wie Den Helder (NL), Panathinaikos
Athen (GR) oder Bayer Leverkusen (D) begrüssen. FIBA-Europe hat dem Turnier
inzwischen aufgrund des sportlichen Niveaus und des internationalen
Teilnehmerfelds sein Label für Turniere der Kategorie U14 verliehen. |

tournoi international de Minibasket, a été organisée la 1e fois en 1994, dans
le temps 12 équipes y ont participé. Dès les débuts, les organisateurs ont
voulu atteindre une grande diversité internationale et un certain niveau du
point de vue sportif. Ces buts ont été atteints et dès la 1e édition, des
équipes prestigieuses comme Den Helder (NL), le Panathinaikos Athènes (GR)
et Bayer Leverkusen (D) ont envoyé leurs plus jeunes. FIBA-Europe a
entre-temps reconnu le caractère international et le haut niveau sportif
en décernant le label FIBA-Europe des moins de 14 ans à Mini-Europe. |
M i n i - E u r o p e , the
international tournament for U14 boys, was first organized in 1994. From the
beginning, it was the aim of the organizers to welcome teams coming from all
over Europe. This goal was achieved when such well known clubs like Den Helder
(NL), Panathinaikos Athens (GR) and Bayer Leverkusen (D) participated in the
first edition. FIBA-Europe also recognized Mini-Europe as a tournament with a
certain standing and conferred its label as a U14-tournament regarding to its
international participation and its high level. |
| In
2011 wird Mini-Europe endlich auch fuer Maedchen zugaenglich. Die diesjährige
Auflage wird demnach ein Doppelturnier, mit 12 Jungs- und 6 Maedchenteams.
Am 11. und 12. Juni 2011 findet dann die 18te Auflage von Mini-Europe statt.
Die dann spielberechtigten Spieler müssen in den Jahrgängen 1997
resp. 1998 geboren sein. |
En 2011, Mini-Europe sera enfin ouvert aux jeunes filles. La 18e édition
sera donc en fait un double tournoi avec 12 équipes de garçons
et 6 équipes de filles. La 18e édition de Mini-Europe sera organisée
(le 11 et 12 juin 2011). Les joueurs pouvant y participer doivent être nés
dans les années 1997 et 1998. |
In
2011, Mini-Europe will be opened for the first time for girls. So the 18th
edition of this famous tournament will be a double tournament: 12 boys teams
will play for the traditionnal Mini-Europe Cup. At the same time, 6 teams
of young ladies will try to be the first girls-team to be registered as
Mini-Europe-Winner. The 18th edition will be organized on june 11th and
12th. Players must be born in the years 1997 and 1998. |
